Born
in Mutare, Zimbabwe on the 3 November 1973. I grew up in a hunting/farming
family in the Midlands of Zimbabwe. Hunted all my life and started a
formal Learner Hunter apprenticeship in 1994. Attained Full Professional
Hunters License in 2000. I have hunted extensively throughout Zimbabwe,
from the Lowveld through the Midlands and Matabeleland to the Zambezi
Valley. Married in March 2002 to Rosy. Now a proud father of two.
Baschopi
& Takavarasha
The
trackers are a vital and intrinsic part of the hunting operation. Both
of my permanent trackers have been working with me since I became a
fully licensed Professional Hunter in 2000. Baschopi Muparaganda was
born in 1957 in Angwa Bridge, Zambezi Valley. He is a very experienced
and competent tracker who has been honing his skills for the last seventeen
years. Baschopi is married with eight sons and six daughters. Takavarasha
Matava was born in 1970 and has been tacking for nine years. He has
incredible eyesight and can see animals in the distance that most people
would struggle to find with the aid of binoculars. Takavarasha is married
with one child.
