Richard Schultz
PH for CM Safaris
I was born into a hunting family in Zimbabwe and from a very young age hunted with my father and uncles on local farms within the farming community I grew up in, and along the Zambezi river.

I started my apprenticeship straight after I left school at the age of eighteen within two years I acquired my full Professional Hunter’s license.
During my apprenticeship I was lucky enough to do a huge amount of Problem Animal Control (PAC) in the communal area around Chirisa National Park. I think I can say that elephant hunting is the most challenging and rewarding, but on the other hand I really enjoy the slow game of cat hunting and the adrenaline of a good dugga boy hunt, so I do not think I have a favourite animal to hunt as I think each animal has its own rewards and challenges.

Since I started hunting I have taken some really great trophies but most of all I enjoy hunting a good mature animal and give it a fair chase as I think every animal needs its own respect. There are no guarantees in hunting but one thing I can guarantee is that I will always give 100% in all aspects of the hunt to make sure you have the perfect hunt and unbelievable memories.

Clever
Clever is one of few people who was born blessed to be a tracker, he had it passed down from his father as his father was also an amazing tracker.

He has over twenty years of experience and as my number one tracker he never ceases to amaze me with his knowledge and instinct of the bush and animals, Clever speaks fluent English and has a great sense of humour. We have been through tough and hard situations and he has always excelled. He is married with three children and lives in Chiredzi.

Tondi
Tondi also comes from a family line of trackers his father used to track in the Omay area, unfortunately both his parents died at very young age and has been the second oldest of nine siblings. Tondi had to find work at a very young age to help support his family. He did not receive a very good education and does not speak fluent English but over the many years of us working together he has improved substantially  and has matured into a great tracker, he has a amazing eyesight and with Clever these two are a perfect match and work incredibly well together. Tondi is married with one child and still lives in the Omay area.

Sam
I first met Sam when he was still working and driving for Myles, I have now taken on Sam from Myles and so I do not have to say much as he has impeccable manners and will always make you feel welcome, he speaks fluent English and is a huge part of the team and will always be waiting with a cold bottle of water after a long walk. He lives in Mutare with his wife and two children.
