A tough hunt! We worked really hard especially on the leopard. In total we had 11 leopard feed on 15 bait of which 5 were mature males. On the first occasion we sat in the blind, the male was mating so very erratic – we only saw the female.

On the second occasion a pride of lions arrived unannounced and chased off the big male just as we were getting ready to shoot. So all in all we were a little unlucky. We should have had a big male!

Because we concentrated on cats we had very little elephant and buffalo time. We saw +/-40 lbs elephant bulls, mostly in the 20-30lbs range, nothing we thought would go 35lbs+.

Most exciting hunt of my life! Hunt was though but every effort was made to get the leopard.
The cape buffalo was exactly what I wanted. Overall I was pleased.
