The hunt started off very slowly as the bush was really thick and still plenty of water around and the bush was very thick.

On day 3 of the hunt we came across a  very badly wounded elephant and with permission from National Parks, Nikolay got to shoot his first elephant. A frontal brain at 6 yards which was extremely exciting and which Nikolay did to perfection!

Baiting the lioness’s proved tough as we were always one step behind them. And as the bait was rotting pretty fast it made it even more difficult. But on the last afternoon of the last day we were walking and herd lions calling and as we kind of tracked and stalked, it all worked out and Nikolay shot a fantastic lioness in style.
