Encountered lion on 3 occasions, numerous tracks. 2 male & 3 female leopard tracks. Healthy populations of impala and warthog. Mature males few. Several herds of kudu cows with young bulls. Good population of zebra. 1 group of sable on Mawonde loop road. Very little evidence of poaching in the area. Very good elephant populations, saw a +/-50lbs bull. Camp and staff very well organized and extremely pleasant. Meals and pack lunches excellent. |
