Buzz Charlton

My 3rd hunt with Buzz was both extremely successful and a pleasure. Nyati worked very hard on tracking, leading us to great opportunities and satisfaction of this type of hunting. Eddy provide great support and both guys were a pleasure to be with. Justin filmed the hunt as he had my two prior, and I have come to view his company, along with Buzz an integral part of the experience. His work is great as well of course. We managed to get extremely close to the buffalo in the course of this hunt, which was very exciting and gave us a look at a lot of buffalo. The bull we shot is certainly a great trophy. I wanted a hyena and the team worked hard to provide the opportunity. It was very gratifying to break the jinx on the hyena after the 2 prior attempts and the experience of that hunt was one that I will certainly always remember.

The hunting Gods smiled on me but the success here was largely due to Buzz’s strategy and attentive execution by the whole team. They worked hard throughout the hunt and the results speak for themselves. Even a duiker on the last day. The food was particularly good as well. I am glad we got out and covered a good deal of the ground on foot and tracking; we had those unexpected bonus opportunities along the way and were able to capitalize on almost all of them, a pretty good run of luck.  The park was fantastic as well.
