Spent hard tracking at least 3 different bulls; at mid-day on the third day two young bulls were resting in a very dense valley. As we approached, a young bull turned toward us. I stepped from cover and shot him at 15 yards. I put a 500 grain solid in his head for a textbook perfect brain shot, and as an insurance I hit him in the heart with a slug from the second barrel as he began to go down. (The second shot was never needed) |
