The first shot was frontal at about 60 yards, low in the chest. Backed up with a .416 Remington (ammo - Remington factory mondithic 400g solids) Bullet entered mid chest and continued into the stomach. The buffalo ran 30 yards and went down, bullet from first shot was not recovered. The second shot went into the back of the shoulder, bullet lodges in brisket at about 70% weight retention. |
