We struggled for 10 days to find a decent bull elephant, having seen one good track on the 2nd day only and Kazuma and Panda Masuie being burnt and with the on set of the rains it looked bleak. Fuller was full of elephants but only young bulls and cows. On the tenth day we found 3 bull tracks coming into Panda Masuie out of Matetsi unit 7. We followed and found the 3 bulls. 1x 45lbs (est.), 1 small bull and 1 x 55lbs which Jerry made a very difficult but great shot and brained it from 35 yards. We could not get closer due to the wind. |
