| Day 1 - 2 |
We shot a nice male leopard, 200m from camp on the second day at 7am. |

During our buffalo hunting we saw numerous herds and dagga boys but when we saw this fantastic 39" bull with unbelievable 16" bosses (110 SCI points) we decided to - dispite early on in the hunt - to take him. We had spotted him with a cow from a view point and completed our kilometer stalk and Marius gave the old bull a frontal shot at 20 yards. The old bull ran 25 yards before going down. We found that it was a perfect heart shot and the bullet had expanded well. It was recovered in the stomach. |

| Day 3 - 7 |
Sable was a high priority for Marius and while going to check a lion bait we saw two bulls that ran from the car. After tracking them trough numerous valleys and over a number of hills we managed to get a very long 200 yard shot which Marius did perfectly. It was a beautiful old 39" bull. Needing more lion bait we decided to shoot a zebra, and on one of our numerous bait runs, Marius managed to get an old grysbok. |

| Day 8 - 22 |

We then spent alot of time concentrating on lion. We had several hits on bait but no big males. We also tracked lions on 4 different occassions, catching them, but again could not find a big male. During this time we were also hunting elephant which consisted on a fair amount and tracking and glassing from the many vantage points that Makuti has to offer. |

| Day 23 - 24 |
On the second last day we followed a bull for 6 hours before he charged us and Marius dropped him at 12 yards with his 458-3". The 458-3" performed well dropping 2 buffalo cows in their tracks as well. Of the 24 days hunting we saw leopard 13 times in broad daylight. |
